"Germany, if you honor God, you will be a blessing."
The place where we are standing is an historic location, that is an historic location for our land and for all the people who have dwelt herein up until now. However, it is not just an historic location for our country but for all of Europe as well.
Over there, maybe 400 to 500 meters from here, in the German parliament, the "Reichstag", the decision was made for the first world war that the world ever saw. Thirteen million people died as a result of that decision. Poverty, inflation, and unemployment were the consequences for our own county. Nevertheless, it only took another 15 years until another man moved into the Reichstag, a man, who was not only to be significant for our county, but also for Europe and the world. He mobilized a people to kill in the name of the German people, even though that people had Christian roots dating back 500 years,
First, he laid his hands on the Jewish people. It was not enough for him to kill some of the leading Jews, he wanted to annihilate the Jewish people as a whole - when it was through this very people through which salvation came into the world. It is JESUS CHRIST through whom God became man. It is the name above all names. It is name of Jesus Christ. But the spirit which was upon this parliament laid its hands on the people of God. It was through this people, the Jews, that all nations were to be blessed. Today, we are standing in this place with another Spirit and we do bless this people, the Jews.
But 6 million Jews dying were not enough. Another, i. e. the Second World War went forth out of this place. It reached the world from this very place. 60 million people had to die. Sorrow came upon all of these women, widows, and orphans. These things broke the soul of the German people. When the war was over, the churches were full. The people that were left behind, sought for God. The Catholic, Protestant, and Free churches were overcrowded.
He who seeks God shall find Him.
At the time, our nation was the poorest in all of Europe, but God blessed us through Jesus Christ. Even calculating, sober-minded politicians spoke of the economic "miracle". But when the wallets became full, the churches became empty. And then God, who turns the hearts of kings as rivers of water, set up a monument.
For sin is like a wall. It divides man from God. Thus, the land was divided into the east and the west. Then there was another miracle. On the other side, i. e. on the eastern side of the [Brandenburg] Gate, after two generations of atheistic doctrine, these old churches started to fill up; people began with at word of prayer and then walked through the streets. Their request: Let the Wall come down. And then on 9 November 1989, this Wall did come down. Thank you, God! After this, the churches emptied out again; another wall is being built in Berlin. It is a wall of lawlessness. It is a wall of many sins.
This is a city which, in the course of its history, brought forth two great threats in the form of two World Wars. However, it is also a city which experiences the wonderful blessing of its Wall coming down. That was not only a blessing for the city, but also a blessing for the country, and not just for the country, but also for Europe, and not just for Europe, but also for the world. We are standing on historic ground. What will be the next impulse going forth out of this city? Will it be destruction and death again or will it be a blessing - not just for the city, but for the world as a whole?
Against this background, I dare to prophesy to Germany, and to all of Europe. To prophesy means to speak for God, to say what God has said. And God has revealed His will in His Word. He said, "I am the Lord, Thy God." If our land will recognize this, the value system in our society will shift. We will no longer use the name of our Lord in vain - that is if the Lord is our God; the God, who sent Jesus to demonstrate His love for the world.
We mourn and - out of love - we speak a word of warning: [Oh] that our government may honor the name of God. A man, who rules a city and does not honor God within himself, will ruin a city. A man, who rules a country and does not honor God in his life, will ruin a country. A European government that does not want to honor God in its constitution, will govern Europe into destruction, because whether there is a blessing or a curse depends on God.
He is life. He can lead people. If God is our Lord, then we will take time for God. We will honor the Sabbath - and there will not be losses in the economy.
If this people honors the God who sent Jesus, then this people will have the strength to honor their fathers and mothers. Then we will respect and honor the old people for as long as there is breath in their nostrils. If this people honors God, they will stop killing. I am standing here and I mourn 10 million unborn children murdered since Section 218 [of the "abortion law"] was changed. He who kills brings death upon himself. But if God is our Lord, we will stop doing it. We will receive children as a gift from God. We will stop killing people with wrong accusations in the print media. We will have the power of the Most High within us to watch our tongues when we speak. Life in society will be strengthened. The dignity of a nation will start to increase. We will love to be Germans, we will love to be Europeans because we know that God is for us.
If this people will honor God, they will stop adultery, for God releases the strength that is necessary to live a life that brings forth life. But if God is not the Lord, this people will be destroyed in its own morals. People will be perverted in their lusts and in their spirits. Man towards men and women towards women will burn for one another. And these abominable sins will ruin a people But if this people will honor God and receive His grace and forgiveness, then they will be healed of their confusion. The power of this abominable sin will be broken. If God is the Lord in this people, then there will be enough money to help the poor; then we will not have to steal anymore. Then we will give to Caesar what is Caesar's and to the tax office what belongs to the tax office. There will not be any 'Black boxes', i. e. "hidden accounts", anymore. This people will have enough money, more than it needs for itself. And it will foster the things of God because it has found the grace to honor God. Europe will re-discover its missionary power and will be a blessing for billions. Courts will close down, lawyers will not have so much work anymore because we will not steal anymore once God gives us His strength. And we will not harm or damage each other anymore. Even our politicians, who honor God, will be speaking of one another with due respect. And if perchance, something wrong was said, others will turn it around for the best. As the role model, so the people. If God is the Lord of this people, then this people will no longer covet the wife of their neighbor or anything that belongs to him. People will rejoice in the blessings that God bestows on this one or that. But for as long as God does not receive the honor due to Him, war will continue to rage in our people. It is a war in the souls of our people.
Hurt wives and hurt husbands who are estranged from one another. Children who are crying after their runaway fathers. Children whose hearts are hardened by this pain and who pas on their hurts to the population. They are deprived of love and they numb this pain with drugs. The people become sick and cold. But if God is the Lord, then power will come upon this people to stop the terror in the families of Germany and Europe. Hallelujah, so shall it be. This is the will of God for our Land and for Europe.
